AAITF Jakarta 2014: Indonesia’s Auto Aftermarket Show

Tarsus Group, organiser of the China International Automotive Aftermarket Industry and Tuning Trade Fair (AAITF) – the world's leading automotive aftermarket exhibition – announces its partnership with Dyandra Promosindo -  organiser of the Indonesian Motor Show – in the launch of the inaugural AAITF Jakarta in March 2014.

AAITF Jakarta will be the first aftermarket trade show in Indonesia with a specific focus on the fast developing modification and tuning markets. With around 3,900m² of space in Hall B, JIExpo Kemayoran, AAITF Jakarta will showcase more than 170 companies from the automotive aftermarket industry including products from the audio/visual, electronics, modification, decoration, care and maintenance categories. The 3-day Business to Business exhibition will be held from Wednesday to Friday and is expected to be visited by 10,000 buyers looking for inspiration and innovation from AAITF’s largely international exhibitor base, which will be showing new products for the Indonesian marketplace. By combining the experience of both organisers, AAITF Jakarta will become the definitive platform for the Indonesian automotive aftermarket industry, gathering together all the key local and international modification players.

Future rapid growth expected from automotive aftermarket industry in Indonesia

Indonesia is ranked as 15thin world economic growth rankings, with 6% GDP growth forecast for 2012. Such rapid growth is expected to increase car sales in Indonesia by up to 50% in the next 5 years. With car sales approaching 1 million units per year, Indonesia is expected to become a critically important market for global automotive aftermarket suppliers. Besides high car sales in Indonesia, a high percentage of citizens interested in modifying their vehicles will ensure elevated demand for aftermarket parts and accessories used within modification and tuning.
