Zuchex 2017 on track to set new records

Early exhibitor bookings include market leading suppliers such as Has Cevher, Evren Mutfak, Avşar Emaye, Alco Papilla, Bora Plastik, Fakir who will be looking to display and promo- te their latest ranges of tableware, kitchenware, glassware, porcelain, ceramics, household electricals and home texti- les. Some 20,000 net sqm of booth space has already been reserved which is more than twice achieved at the equiva- lent time for the previous show.
 
When last held in 2016, Zuchex hosted 432 exhibitors and 29,126 visitors who travelled from 94 countries to attend the fair. In contrast to many other events held in Turkey in 2016, Zuchex saw an impressive 32% increase in internatio- nal buyers which was a clear indication of the resilience of the local and regional housewares market as big spending buyers from the Middle East, North Africa and Europe, looked to purchase and import the most innovative and ‘on-trend’ products for their retail, wholesale and hospitality businesses. Feedback from exhibitors confirmed that orders valued at many millions of US$ were placed during the four day fair.

Commenting on the record level of early sales, Fatih Bagci, general manager of Tarsus Life Media said, “The Turkish housewares industry recognises and supports the role of Zuchex as the most important direct sales and marketing channel for the domestic and regional markets. With the Turkish economy and con- sumer spending showing good signs of recovery, prospects of securing large scale orders during the fair looks very positive indeed.” Mr. Bagci went on to say that such a comprehensive display of the latest hou- sewares products, will provide buyers with an unrivalled view of sector trends and sourcing opportunities.
 
Zuchex 2017 will take place from 21-24 September 2017 at Tuyap Fair and Exhibition Center Istanbul.
