We are looking to appoint an IT Manager to work as part of our central management team. The role will appeal to someone with strong experience in technology, IT infrastructure and project management working in fast-paced international environments, who can ensure that the company’s ambitious growth plans are supported and enabled by our IT infrastructure.

You will work alongside our management team and work closely with our strategic partners to ensure ongoing delivery and support for our IT users. You will also enable implementation of our IT and technology strategy and execution roadmap. Establishing and maintaining solid, enduring relationships in order to help achieve overall goals is a key part of this role.  This will see you working with our senior management teams, and external IT service partners across our international portfolio.

Experience as a project manager or business analyst could also provide a useful experience set for this role if this is combined with active involvement with technology projects. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor performance of ongoing information technology systems to identify cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving performance
  • Manage IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
  • Help deliver the IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
  • Analyse business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
  • Ensure that all business IT needs are effectively managed and supported
  • Assess vendors and develop test strategies for new hardware and software
  • Oversight of processes to resolve hardware and software issues related to internal IT
  • Assist with running and administration of IT Steering Committee
  • Work with business to ensure IT policies are complied with

Skills and Experience

  • 3-8 years of experience as an IT Manager or Project Manager working at a senior level in a multi-office and multinational environment
  • Experience supervising and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
  • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
  • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
  • Understanding of budgets and cost control
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
