This key position is a vital role within the Marketing & Communications team.  The successful candidate works closely with the 5 other members of the M&C team, as well as colleagues within the Tarsus team to help deliver on strategies that produce sales & successful events.

The role:

This key position is a vital role within the Marketing & Communications team.  The successful candidate works closely with the 5 other members of the M&C team, as well as colleagues within the Tarsus team to help deliver on strategies that produce sales & successful events.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, the Marketing Executive will work to ensure projects are delivered on time, on brand and on budget. 

We seek a customer-focused, results-driven individual who demonstrates strong attention to detail with excellent communication, organisational & interpersonal skills and a positive attitude. The candidate must be a self-starter and have the ability to work on their own. 

Main roles & responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Marketing & Communications team to produce and implement marketing plans across all Tarsus F&E LLC Middle East events.
  • Act as the key liaison between the marketing team and the creative team to brief in collateral requirements.
    • Coordination of design and production of event marketing collateral such as adverts, web banners / emails, event materials, etc.
    •  Keep track and follow up on all project deadlines while communicating with key internal and external stakeholders.
    • Work closely with Creative & Web Teams; Event Managers & Sales Team; Operations Team.
  • Meticulously Keep track of all project deadlines using Basecamp (Project Management Tool).
  • Responsible for all media partner contra deliverables & research.
    • Assists in researching new partners and taking the lead on deliverables for the agreements.
    • Works directly with external partners.
  • Ensures websites are kept up-to-date & error-free on both desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Completes analysis of surveys and shares results with the Tarsus F&E Team.
  • Acts as Project Manager between the Marketing & Communications Team and the Design Team, briefing in requests and maintaining key deliverable dates.  Follows up with team members to achieve deadlines.
  • Supports the Digital Marketing Manager and helps draft email broadcasts.
    • Reports post-broadcast statistics and leads
    • HTML coding experience a bonus.
  • Supports the Digital Marketing Manager with content for Digital campaigns as required.
  • Promptly responds to and documents all visitor enquiries within 24 hours.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential:

  • Educated to University degree standard or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a marketing environment.
  • Experience & understanding of event marketing & communications, preferably within a B2B environment.
  • Solid knowledge of project management; ability to work with multiple stakeholders and adhere to strict deadlines.
  • Knowledge of website content development, collateral development, experience working with creative teams.
  • Proficient using MS Office including intermediate Word and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a pressurised environment.
  • Confident self-starter; able to work well on their own initiative and within a team.
