OFFPRICE Show enjoys healthy attendance increase

The OFFPRICE Show enjoyed a 12 percent gain in attendance from its August 2011 show to its recently completed February 2012 show. OFFPRICE is the largest show of its kind in the country, with 10,793 attendees at its February 10-13, 2012 show at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas. Show organizers were encouraged by the strong showing of international buyers, national and regional chain stores as well as boutiques. The increased attendance, along with the largest show floor in event history, 126,000 square feet, made for a successful show for everyone involved.

“The mark of a good trade show is vendors writing a lot of orders and buyers finding the products they were seeking at great prices,” said Stephen Krogulski, chief executive officer of OFFPRICE. “We heard from both vendors and buyers alike about having an extremely successful show. Our goal is always to connect vendors and buyers and help forge beneficial partnerships.”

The OFFPRICE Show prides itself on offering a bit of everything in the apparel industry at the best prices available, often 20 – 70 percent below wholesale. 126,000 square feet of exhibit space and 492 exhibitors greeted all attendees, providing something for everyone. The show’s vendors provide apparel in all categories: women’s, juniors, men’s, children’s, missy, plus-size, denim, accessories, headwear, footwear, jewelry, licensed apparel, and more.

“It was a wonderful show, fantastic,” said Cindy Kieng, president of Cutie Patootie Clothing, Inc. “It’s been phenomenal with everything. We’ve had a great show and this is our tenth year of exhibiting.”
“The OFFPRICE Show is critical to our operation,” said Luke Sharpe, partner, Sharpe’s Department Stores, Checotah, Okla. “It is by far the best source of value merchandise that enables us to better serve our customers.”
A Taste of OFFPRICE show (May 6-8, 2012) is the next opportunity for buyers to find the best values in the apparel industry. The market-sized show takes place in New York City at Gotham Hall.
