OFFPRICE is on target

The OFFPRICE Show recently returned to the Sands Expo at Venetian/Palazzo, August 17-20, 2013. The 38th installment of the apparel trade show kicked off Fashion Week in Las Vegas to the tune of 125,000 net-square-feet of booth space, once again resulting in a sell-out of its show floor. There was a great rise in the overall number of ‘Cash & Carry’ exhibitors at the recently completed show, with 25 companies taking booths. A typical show sees approximately 15 such exhibitors. The show’s attendance increased slightly from its August 2012 event in which over 10,000 qualified attendees were present.

 “What we found is that many retailers came to Vegas ready to buy again and restock their shelves, because of that, shopping OFFPRICE has become a must,” said Stephen Krogulski, chief executive officer of OFFPRICE. “Our show’s exhibitors deliver quality apparel at prices that often are impossible to beat. Retailers simply cannot afford to miss the show.”

Retailers come to OFFPRICE looking for quality apparel at a great price. With 500 exhibitors, many carrying products at up to 70 percent below wholesale, the show delivers on both fronts in a major way. More and more exhibitors are carrying brand names than in years past.

“This show was one of my best,” said Moshe Sarraf, owner and president of Beverly Hills Uniforms, Bronx, N.Y. “The majority were new customers. We opened up a lot of new accounts, both large and small stores alike.”
