F&E AEROSPACE WINS AT THE FIRST WORLD FOOD PROGRAMME (WFP) HUMANITARIAN AVIATION AWARDS

Aviation Safety Promotion Donor Award

Dubai, UAE. 10 October 2012 – Organisers of the Dubai Airshow - F&E Aerospace has won the Aviation Safety Promotion Donor Award at the first World Food Programme (WFP) Humanitarian Aviation Awards.

The award was presented last night during the opening ceremony dinner held at the Jordan Valley Marriott Resort & Spa, Dead Sea – Jordan.

F&E Aerospace’s Managing Director, Alison Weller was honoured by a panel of judges -  Dr. Elissar Sarrouh UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative, Mr. Ali Al Naqbi Founding Chairman of the Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA), and Capt. Samir Sajet the WFP Regional Aviation Safety Officer.

Alison Weller, Managing Director of F&E Aerospace, said: “We are extremely honoured to be the very first recipient of the WFP Humanitarian Aviation Award. We have proudly supported the WFP since the 2007 Dubai Airshow and we look forward to continuing these efforts for many years to come.”
